About Fox Soul. Fox Soul is new streaming service aimed at African Americans viewers. This debut channel is the first streaming initiative by Fox TV Stations. It “aims to celebrate Black culture and highlight insightful dialogue with local and national influences.”

Fox Soul 'For the Culture' Campaign

The ‘For the Culture’ campaign kicked off on July 4, 2020 with ‘Soulmates for Black Folk Must Vote,” — a long and growing list of celebrities and cultural influencers who posted selfies on social media wearing their Soulmates Coalition Limited Edition 2020 Tee to help bring awareness first hand to our communities. We’re on a mission to motivate and inspire the millions of eligible Black voters!

Heading into 2020, we launched a powerful new PSA urging Black people to vote in the upcoming elections. The PSA, directed by the Dream Dept. Media, amplifies a number of issues that currently have the American public, and Black people in particular, demanding action and new solutions.

Past BFMV Campaigns

HBCU College Tour

BFMV’s first-ever college tour at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) to educate and empower students to vote in the historic 2008 Presidential election.

#ButtonUp Campaign

BFMV encouraged iconic Black figures ranging from civil rights leaders and actors to athletes to #buttonup and inspire Black people to register, vote, and make their voices heard. 


Drive the Vote – Philadelphia

On Election day, 2016 – Black Folk Must Vote volunteers drive eligible Philadelphian voters to the polls to help maximize Black voters’ participation in the general election.

Faces of BFMV

This campaign to raise community awareness was driven by photos, swag, and conversations with BFMV supporters in local communities.

Sigma’s Vote  Campaign

BFMV designs pro-voting apparel for Phi Beta Sigma, Inc., and other Black fraternities to promote voting and wellness in and around New York City and New Jersey.

Black Folk Must Vote – Kick-off Campaign

The first Black Folk Must Vote campaign launched Howard’s Homecoming in 2004 and was inspired by 1960s button with the “Black Folk Must Vote” slogan. Celebrities caught wind of our PSA during New York Fashion Week events and soon the first BFMV campaign was born.
